I have a 2015 328 xi with 30,000 miles on it. I had run into an issue with some warning lights on the dash, car was driving just fine. I took it to my regular mechanic and he told me there was NO COMMUNICATION with the scanner. We tried a different scanner with the same result. So we looked online and saw this place. Reviews seemed good and we called to see what they could do. Story short, we took the car there. We told him the issue on the phone and we explained the issue while there. They told us about the initial $130 to diagnose the problem, we agreed and left the car there on a Tuesday morning at 8AM. 3 days later after multiple phone calls, Mark told me he was 80% in and he just needed $125 extra because he needed extra time to figure it out. We agreed. A week passed and we went through the second week, multiple phone calls again to be told he would call us back with a result. He called and said that (after 2 weeks) he was getting NO COMMUNICATION with the scanner, and he suggest to take it to the dealer and that I owed him $255. After disagreeing with him because we were still at square 1 with NO COMMUNICATION being our problem they took 2 weeks to tell me there was NO COMMUNICATION. The owner waived the fee and told us the car would be outside for us to pick up. Money is not the issue. We are upset that the vehicle was kept for two weeks, we made the phone calls to check on the progress, they made the phone calls to discuss money. The front sign said they are the next best to the dealer.. We made an appointment with the dealership at 8 am this morning. They called by noon with a diagnosis and repair. Cost was minimal and all warning lights are gone. Now we have perfect COMMUNICATION. We are giving one star due to the amount of time they kept the car, and of course not being able to figure it out.
